FLAG Wisconsin Center for Education Research; modular classroom assessment techniques
Force Concept Inventory modeling.asu.edu; This site has links to the FCI and other inventories. The file you download is password protected so you will need to send e-mail as directed on the page before you can use the file.
Intuitor Online Survey intuitor.com; This site presents an online quiz of basic physics concepts. A student can take the quiz, see the score, and read explanations as to why their answer is incorrect. Topics covered are Energy, Gravity, Kinematics, Fluids, Newton's Laws, Matter, Electricity and Units.
PreTests Monash University; Diagnostic and Remedial Tests for Introductory Physics. The tests cover mechanics, heat, and optics.

National Science Digital Library nsdl.org; This site is the National Science Foundation's online library of resources for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education and research. There are more than 1 million resources available through this site.
NSTA Web Seminars institute.nsta.org; The National Science Teachers Association presents free online seminars on a variety of topics. You can view the PowerPoint presentation from previous seminars. Most material is targeted towards pre-college teaching.

Wolfram Demonstrations demonstrations.wolfram.com You will need to download a free player for these Wolfram interactive demonstrations. You can browse by topic or search for a keyword. The topics include Art, Business, Computation, Math, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and more. A free player exists for PC's and Macs.

Berkeley Webcast webcast.berkeley.edu This site has recorded lectures for various departments organized by semester. You can do a search that is probably the fastest way to find the course topic you are interested in. Much of the recording I found was in the .rm file type. MP3's of the lectures can be downloaded.
MIT Open Courseware ocw.mit.edu This is the home page for MIT open courses.

Annenberg Media learner.org; Annenberg Media; Click on the 'View Programs' tab. This site allows you to watch the Annenberg videos if you have a broadband connection. You will have to register (free) before you can watch the videos.
Berkeley Videos video.google.com; Videos of classes from U. of California at Berkeley; Adobe Flash Player is used to view the videos.
Khan Academy khanacademy.org This site has links to over 1600 tutorial videos that last about 10 minutes. The topics covered include Arithmetic, Pre-algebra, Algebra, Algebra I Worked Examples, California Standards Test: Algebra I, Algebra 1 Examples, California Standards Test: Algebra II, MA Tests for Education Licensure (MTEL) -Pre-Alg, Precalculus, Probability, Statistics, Geometry, California Standards Test: Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Science: Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Banking, History. You definitely should evaluate the content before directing students to this site. The videos I viewed did problem solving in a step by step manner similar to watching a person write on a board in front of a class. There is narration along with the video. If I read the site correctly, one person made all of the videos.

TED www.ted.com Free videos on a wide variety of topics: Technology, Design, Entertainment, Business, Science, Global Issues. I have only looked at the Science area.
Video Analysis www3.science.tamu.edu; This site has information on how to do analysis of videos for physics education. There are video clips, and suggested analysis of the clips, available for download.
You Tube

youtube.com/education This site has educational videos from a few minutes to over an hour long. You can search the educational videos or browse by topic. Many videos are from major universities.
